This quick page was created with my new Lolli's and Candy Corns. I will have the candy embellishments up for download something this week or next, but to show them off and give you a sample, I designed a quick page. It's in Both PSP and PDS format for the Paint Shop Pro fan or the Adobe Photo shop user. Just add your picture into the Photo layer, and you're set. :) Please link back to jelly bean lane if you post it in a blog or forum so others can download also. ;)

Dear Friends,
I am still updating Jelly Bean Lane, it's time consuming so please be patient with me.
All of my Freebie Downloads from the Past and recent will be listed on the Freebie Cupcake. I am currently listing and none of them are linked as of yet.
All of the Mini Kits, and Word Arts will be listed there as well. It's taking some time to get them all listed. I have had several requests to relist my older kits, please have patience as I get them all done. I expect to have it all completed within the week or so. Until then, you can still download what is available from the Blog area. ;)
Thank you for understanding.

Dear Friends,
As you can see I am in the process of doing a complete make over of Jelly Bean Lane.
If you have had your blogs listed on my page before, or would like your blog listed here now, Please post a comment with your Blog Name and the link so I can add that.
If you are a PSP Tutorial Writer or Group Owner and would like linked on the Link pages, Please leave a comment with your Group or Website name, as well as your URL and I will get you listed.
If you are unsure how to post a comment. Just click comment at the end of this entry, then click the BLOG Cupcake to the left, and post as usual. :)
I'm sorry for the inconvienance this has brought my visitors and any confusion. But you will catch on really quick. ;)
Jelly Bean Lane has been in need of a face lift for a while to get away from the same ol' mundane BLah of the usual blogs. ;)
Hugs,
Rachel

Well, if you have found your way here and you're a regular reader, then you have noticed I have started a long over due update on my blog.
First you will notice the welcome page, that has my TOU on the home page.
Secondly, you may see to the left the Link Tabs. Navigating through this style is a little differant than usual, as well as posting comments. So I will leave these instructions up for a couple of days while I finish the maintance on the site.
To View my archive of older posts, freebies and tutorials click ETC. Choose the month you want to browse through, then click Blog to the left.
To post a comment, click on where it says Comments, click blog, and then post as usual.
Very simple. :)
Would love to hear what you think of the new layout, and it would be a great opportunity for you to practice navigating through the site, as well as posting comments. ;)
If you're new here, and have found this confusing, I apologize, I just really wanted to set this up where my TOU and such were read first with my Welcome. ;0)
Hugs,
Rachel

Holy Cow!

Holy Cow, is it already March 22nd and already easter time?
The last two weeks have been uber hectic. I like staying busy and keeping my mind busy, but goodness, this is nuts.
Ok I have to rant about something real quick. The last few times I have logged on to my blog I have new comments. I love comments and apprecaite the conversation, so don't stop posting please.... But, what really annoys me , is it seems we're being plagued with people spamming our blogs with comments to "click" here etc, advertisments for porn, and dating services and what not. It tickes me off, and Im getting really tired of deleteing the comments. Some of them have viruses also, so becareful if you're getting these posts from people on your blogs.
Anyhoo, on to better things.
I have some easter freebies, I have been working on and saving for today, and here they are. :)
Set of Various Easter Bows featuring pastels, plaids and easter egg patterns.
You can snag them here
I will add the matching papers after a reboot. :)
Hugs,
Rachel

Happy Tuesday

Tuesday is not usually a very significant day , like Monday is Monday Madness or Misery for some... and Wednesday is Happy Hump Day, and friday is TGIF, and Satuday is WOOHOO it's the weekend day, and Sunday is the Lord's Day, but poor Tuesday and Thursday doesn't get credit for anything, they're just there I suppose. So today I am going to scout out some freebies. Yesterday I didn't get to list any of my own because I had a major shipment of supplies come in. I recieved my Lip balm tubes so I can restock on my lip butter. I got some new flavors in for that too. So some time day I am planning on making lip butter. The new flavors are Orange Cream Vanilla, Strawberry smoothie, Grape Soda, and Juicy Pineapple. I am dying to try the grape soda. I opened the bottle and sniffed it, and it smelled just like a freshly popped can of grape soda...psycologically, it made my nose tingle like soda bubbles do. ha ha So I am dying to try that, AND I am really wanting to try the new natural sweetener I got in for that. I have been using sacchrine, which is what commerical lip balm makers use. It's sweet enough, but anyone who has followed my Soaps 'N Suds blog and chatted with me often, knows that I am about natural ingredients and benefits, and sacchrine isn't natural or healthy. This new sweetener, is extracted from licorice root. Now before you turn your nose if you're like me and don't like licorice, it doesn't taste like licorice and licorice root is not the same. The flavor for black licorice comes from Anise, when you smell that, you will know what it resembles. lol haha... Licorice root is very healthy, great for the skin as an emollient and whatdayaknow.... it has a very naturally sweet flavor. I tasted a bit when I opened it yesterday and IT WAS DEFINATELY SWEEEEEET! Perfect, now to try it. ;)
I got alot of goodies in yesterday. I recieved my packaging for my shower gel, so I can list it on the website, half of the packaging for my ballerina butter. I was upset that I recieved the cosmetic jars and no lids. I can't hardly package with that. One little phone call to the bottling company fixed that problem. ;) .... AND , I got the one thing I have been dying to get out of everything. My ingredients for making foaming bath whip and foaming sugar scrub. OMG! I got it all yesterday and as soon as I checked the invoices and moved everything out of the way , I got busy.
I made the most heavenly Foaming Sugar Scrub Bath Frosting. This stuff is fantastic. Here is a picture I took for the store...
It looks like butter or buttercream frosting, I scented it in cupcake, and I whipped it up nice and fluffly with cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin e and Sugar Cane. I did a PH test strip on it and it tests at 5. Now with soap that is ok to use and safe for the skin it should test between 7 - 11 on a ph strip. over 11 it's to harsh and not good for you. This tested at 5, meaning it's perfect for your face. I tried it, and IT WAS FANTABULOUS!! I usually have to moisturize after I wash my face. Now, I've been in skin care for over 10 years now, and all of customers know that I preach a skin care regimen, meaning, wash, tone and moisturize twice a day!! Well.... that's because usually after you wash, the cleanser strips your skin of vital natural moisturizer, and you need to replenish that. This natural sugar scrub frosting I made yesterday was so soft, so silky, yet cleansed my skin and removed all of the make up, but left it smooth and soft, and I didn't have to moisturize at all!! YES, I went all day without moisturizer!! For the first time since I was 14, I didn't moisturize my face. UGH, it was great! The kids tried it and loved it, mom tried it and loved it. This stuff is great. So today if I have to get the stock of the sugar scrub up, and the lip butter. I need to design labels for them, so I will be posting links to others freebie's I find so you don't come here and walk away empty handed.
Check out the Store www.soaps-n-suds.com
The sugar scrubs are listed in the store under body butter, you can check it out here I will be listing new fragrances in the sugar scrub later today. I currenty have Milk Chocolate, Cupcake and Cinnabun listed. I made a cooling peppermint twist last night, that is heavenly. I used natural menthol and peppermint extracts and it's a great vapor body polish or face wash, because it opens your sinus' up if you have a cold. That helped me alot. And Today I should have cotton candy available. It's 4.99 for a 4 oz butter bowl. a little goes along way! Anyhoo, I am off to scout for freebies. ;)
Hugs,
Rachel

Ok, I'm REAL excited about this one, and I think you guys will love it, especially if you make alot of scraps for cook books, recipes and kiddos helping in the kitchen and whatnot. :) I made some really cute realistic looking oven mittens, and I'm going to list the full element kit in the store, BUT, if I have enough people interested, I will offer it as a template where all you have to do is fill your pattern and match your own mittens. ;) Unfortunately, it won't work in Paint Shop ( the template) you have to have photoshop, but alot of you guys use photoshop anyway.
Here is a close up view of the texture.....
Doesn't that look fantastic? WOW... I had alot of fun making this template and the mittens.
The sampler encludes 3 mittens, They are very large and great detail, so it will be easy to resize them and print them.
You can download the Freebie HERE.
If you want the full premade set you can purchase them HERE..
or if you want to make your own, you can purchase my template Here
