Personal Reflections

I look back over my life from the last few years and there has been so many things that have just torn me down spiritually, mentally and even physically after a while, and if it weren't for a certian handful of people that make life worth picking back up and piecing back together again, I honestly don't know where I would be.

Being in the depths of dispair is the darkest and most miserable feeling in exsistance, and I can honestly say that almost four years later, I have even more to live for, and more people to love.

What I am getting at, is I have come so very far in the last few years. I have grown and developed, I hope , into a better mother, daughter, sister and friend. I have my faults, I know I do, but I have so many reasons to keep trying and focusing on today and what is important, My family. :)

My reasons for getting into graphics design and digital scrapping is my way of keeping my mind busy.... I have no time to be depressed anymore and I get really excited when I do something new. lol I have been doing this for about 5 years now and I continually learn something new each time I open this program. lol

The Digital scrapbooking is a way for me to celebrate and show off my family, the people I love and cherish the most in life. The people who give me reason to pull myself up out of bed in the mornings and go on with life. I guess this is my digital brag book! lol

The freebies I post each day, is my way of repaying the wonderful people online from several years ago that posted free tubes, and tutorials that pointed me in the right direction in learning PSP and ultimately, leading me to where I am today with my scrap book fun. It has gone from Digital to RL, ( I can just see the mess all over the floor later. lol ).

I just want to pay it forward and give something to others like it was for me.

Ultimately, this post is a Shout out to God, for blessing me with the people I love so much, talent in differant areas in life and great family and friends that I would be lost without and for allowing me the opportunity to be a Christian and show others what that means.

I love this one, It kinda reminds me of Minnie Mouse. LOL!! This is a Cloth Alpha in a Story Book styled Font. You are Downloading the Entire Alpha Set. This is not a Sample, it's the whole Enchillada! It includes 26 Upper Case Alpha's, 26 Lower Case Alpha's and 10 Number's 0-9. :)


Take a close look real quick. This is the actual size of the Alpha and you can actually see the fabric grain. :)

This was alot of fun to make and I plan on making more just like this, but in differant colors. :)

Show 'N Tell: Neena's Bath Time

Mom gave Neena a bath today. Oh man did she need it too! Her bottle leaked on her jammies and she smelled stinky P-U! lol

I got some cute pictures of her bath time and put it in a cute little scrap LO.

Scrap: Show 'N Tell, Neena playin' Peek-a-boo

Neena is just to cute for words! Her Nana gave her a bath today , and I got some really cute pictures, which I will post later after I am finished scrapping a couple of them. After her bath her big bro, Nate, got her in her "punkin" seat to get ready to go. He tucked her in nice and tight with her little pink blanket and she grinned real big and played peek-a-boo! It was so cute. All we could see from behind the blanket was two big round bluish-brown eyes!! lol

A Shout Out to Hilmarose

It's so great. This morning, Neena is taking a nice little nap and I am getting a chance to sit down and actually get a few things done for my freebies.

I thought I should post a couple of tutorials up here pretty soon to teach who ever may be interested the art of making your own scrap elements.. ya know, for a few of the little things that ya just don't see laying around everywhere but you just have to have... like making your tag strings. Man, we need tag strings always! lol

I want to take this time to comment on a little something. I was looking at Hilmarose blog today, and I downloaded a few of her templates. Altho I make my own goodies and elements I still use freebies from others because they just have some great concepts that I didnt think of!! Anyhoo, I noticed on the few downloads I did today that so many people download our stuff and very few of them post a thank you or a comment. I wanted to thank her for all of her kindness, because it is nice to feel appreciated for what we do, and I like to post links to my favorite blogs on my page, one) so I can go back to it easily and two) so I can share their talents and blessings with everyone else. SNEAK PEEK!!!!

I know you guys have heard me mention a few times lately, that I am working on a new scrap kit. Well.... actually I am working on a couple of new kits and they are really cute!!

I think you'll love these, and I know you're curious.... and a couple of you are just anxious!!! lol Well, I have a little sneak preview of the kits. Remember this is just a preview so there isnt anywhere near all the goodies on the preview, just a few of the elements to give you a basic idea on the theme and colors. ;)
