I love making these scrap kits, they are soooo much fun! This one was a blast to make. I have another I will post next week that I loved even more than this one, I bet you're getting all excited now. You know you're a DIGI scrap junkie if you get excited and nearly wet yourself to see the words "FREEBIE, MINI KIT and DOWNLOAD" in the same sentace. LOL

This one is Called Hippie Chic. The entire Mega kit took me 6 hours to complete, including the full alpha set. The Mini kit also include my written TOU. I kindly request that you respect that. ;)

I love tye dye and peace signs and that is what inspired me to create this kit. My son hosted boyscouts at our house last summer and we taught them how to make tye dye t-shirts. I took some awesome pictures of it, and I wanted to create an original scrap kit to add those pictures to. Of course this is more girlie tho, so I will adjust the colors to fit him. :)

I hope you enjoy this mini kit as much as I enjoyed creating it and keep posted for the full version, which has MUCH more to offer in it.
All of the graphics in the kit are original graphics designed by me and I own the copyright on them.... please respect this.

A New Desktop scrap design, for my dear aunt

As most of you know... I do a free monthly Desktop Calander. You can download the premade blank in my Labels Section. ;)

I offer , to my personal family and friends who do not PSP to put their photos into the desktop BG for them and my Aunt sent me a photo of her and her late father , taken in 1961on Thanksgiving Day when she was 3 months old. It was her first horse back ride! :) I touched the photo up a little with a noise remover and and removed a few scratches, then smoothed it out a little. I made this special scrap design for it and wanted to show it off to you guys. If you click the image you can see it upclose. I just love old photos, black and white and Sepia Toned photos in scrapbooking, they look great!
I will not be offering this particular design as a freebie because it is a special one of a kind I made especially for her, but I definately wanted you guys to see it. :)

Hugs,
Rachel

Aunt Jo, Age 3 months old, Thanksgiving 1961.

Pimpin' My Blog

Ok... I know as you're peeking in here, you're noticing a few changes going on in here. lol I am pimpin' my blog as I go.

I am still working on Jelly Bean Lane. She is my baby and is taking plenty of time to prepare... b ut I like things a certian way and I am giving Sammy some needed time to her self. We work on everything together. That group is our group and we worked steady on it for about a month. We have probably a good weeks worth of work left, but neither of us want to burn out in there. So a little break there is ok for now. Not to worry, it will be finished and ready for opening soon.

My Store? Well, its going to be last because I have to figure all of that and I right now I am getting this blog thing down so it all goes hand in hand.

So much to do... wow.

Anyhoo, remember how I said I was going to post a tutorial on how to tube? I am working on that and I will have in Jelly Bean Lane... BUT, I will have a copy of it here as well.

Thanks for your patience with the steady changes I am making in here. More freebies coming today, so keep posted.

FREEBIE: Bahdah-BLING Thing!!

I Bling! It makes tags and graphics look so much better and it beats plain jane glittering. Don't get me wrong, I love to glitter my tags with the plain jane glitter. When I first learned to glitter I was really excited because I mastered something new and pretty and it was easier than I had imagined.

Bling is another thing. It's a little more time consuming, and you need Xenofex to create it ( or other plugins ) BUT... it looks hella-cool once you get it on your graphics and tags!

Today's Bling Thing is a heart trail. I didn't make this one, nor am I claiming I did. I had it laying around in my stuff and it hasn't been used lately cause I have been so busy with other things. BUT... I love this Bling!!

Pretty huh?

I have it in PSP image and PSD for those who do not have Paint Shop Pro. Like I said before, my cup of tea is PSP and not PhotoShop, but I can do either or, makes no matter to me. If you like the bling.... then it's yours. :) Same TOU as usual. ;)

Paint Shop Pro Version in .Pspimage format

Or.... PhotoShop in . PSD format

Enjoy it and Have fun Blingin' your graphics! :)

Freebie's will be late today

I am taking a late start today. I stayed up late last night and took advantage of the kids not having school today. For those who don't know, My kiddos are homeschooled and we give them the day off for their birthdays. Nikki Noodle is 7 years old today. We celebrated last night so her dad could make it to the party.

Anyhoo, I have lunch with Mom and Mimi... ( wonder what antics my Nephew will be to today... he is so cute).... then I have to handle some business in town over the medicle insurance. I must get that taken care of ASAP so I can get the lump in my breast looked it. I am betting it is just a calcium cyst, but I need to have it looked at anyway.

So once I get all of that insurance jazz handled I will be back here. I have some Bling to Share with you guys today, so if you checked in already and don't see nuffin... check back this afternoon and this evening. ;)

Tubing Nikki's Flip Flop

I had a great idea for a project this evening when my daughter was opening her birthday gifts. She had two pairs of adorable dotty flip flops and I t hought of a neat project.... I won't tell you what it is just yet, I want it to be a surprise. :)

So anyhoo, I took some pictures of her flip flops on a white towel and I made tubes out of them this evening. I am going to add them to my JellyBean's Tube Collection after I finish this TOP SECRET Project. lol Don't worry you'll love it when it's finished, cause I will post it here for download.

But I learned to tube this evening, the RIGHT WAY..... and it took me forever to trial and error it, so I will be writing a tutorial on how to tube now that I have it all figured out for myself and down to a science. :)

Here is a sample of the flip flop during the tubing process and after. ;)

This is in PSP, tubing the flip flop neatly, not using the erasor brush at all.

And a Sample of the completed Flip flop tube. This is from a real flip flop, doesn't it look great? I know some wonderful graphics I am going to turn out with this, and you will love it when I have it ready for download. Keep posted. ;)
